We have planned for you a week of fun, adventure, quiet time, massages and spa treatments, yummy food, laughter, swimming, walking on the beach, exploring Balinese culture, dancing, yoga and workshops on cultivating a sacred life.

We will soak in the serene magic this beautiful island has to offer as we immerse in morning & afternoon yoga & meditation, engage with daily workshops focused on deepening your understanding of yourself, indulge in pampering and self care rituals, laze, journal, explore, relax by the pool, and maybe sip a cocktail or two as the sun sets. 

The focus will be around discovering and affirming what is it to truly embody PEACE in your body and in your life as we travel through each day with an intention to open to our truest, most authentic self. We will explore sacredness in nourishing and uplifting ways as we relax into the beauty, support & transformational healing that such a retreat and location ultimately brings to body, mind & spirit. 

Whilst there will be plenty of time to practice on the retreat, we will also create lots of space for you to luxuriate, rest and rejuvenate with time for you to do as you please.

The Place

 The mere mention of Bali evokes thoughts of a paradise. It’s more than a place; it’s a mood, an aspiration, a tropical state of mind.

Island of the Gods

The rich and diverse culture of Bali plays out at all levels of life, from the exquisite flower-petal offerings placed everywhere, to the processions of joyfully garbed locals, shutting down major roads as they march to one of the myriad temple ceremonies, to the otherworldly traditional music and dance performed island-wide. Almost everything has spiritual meaning. The middle of Bali is dominated by the dramatic volcanoes of the central mountains and hillside temples such as Pura Luhur Batukau (one of the island’s estimated 10,000 temples), while the tallest peak, Gunung Agung, is the island’s spiritual centre. To start our retreat we drive over this amazing volcanic area to the North of Bali and our gorgeous private villa. 

The land on the other side, that’s north Bali. Although one-sixth of the island’s population lives here, this vast region is overlooked by many visitors who stay trapped in the south Bali−Ubud axis. The big draw here is the incredible diving and snorkelling, a sleepy beach strip with cheerful hotels and sunset cocktails. A little bit inland you’ll find quiet treks to waterfalls.

The Space

 Tejakula Beach Villa

This intimate retreat only has 6 rooms with ensuite so don’t delay in booking your place. All rooms have views to the ocean. We have our own beach bar/yoga shala and several beach bales for you to read, relax or meditate in on comfy, colourful cushions.

Please note North Bali has a black stone beach which can be difficult to walk on and the ocean can at times be too wild for swimming, but don’t worry we have a gorgeous swimming pool overlooking the ocean for you.

Just a 3 hour drive from Denpasar airport and a world away from the hustle and traffic of the South and Ubud, set on the edge of the Bali Sea against a backdrop of scenic mountain ranges, surrounded by small villages and local farms. There is nothing in our local area, no shops, cafes etc so please bring everything you need with you. The closest supermarket is a 30 minute drive away. 

Relax by the swimming pool, or while away the hours snorkeling among the coral reefs. Have a massage or just do nothing and stare out to sea 🙂 

Experience stunning sunrises and sunsets over the sea and fall asleep to soft, rolling waves. We will dine overlooking the ocean.

Meals

All meals on this retreat are vegetarian and sourced from local produce. Not included is one dinner and three lunches which are self pay and this will be provide an opportunity for non-vegetarian meals should you wish.

Relax and de-stressSometimes we have to be far from home to give ourselves the permission to truly relax. Being on a retreat allows you to listen to your body, rest when you need it, and be free from stress. 

Replace old habits The best way to break a bad habit is to replace it with a new healthy one. When you feel motivated you can replace unhealthy habits with conscious new behaviours that support you in being your best self.

Make new friendsUndeniably, you will meet individuals with similar interests. Even if you go alone, you have a chance to make friends with people who you might know for the rest of your life.

Program Itinerary

Day 1

Anytime today you can head to the beach, arrive and breathe in the salt air

4pm Introductions and Welcome Ceremony, Watch the Sunset

7pm Restorative yoga and guided meditation

Day 2

7.30 – 8.30am Gentle hatha morning yoga flow by the beach

9am Breakfast

10-12pm Workshop learning to strip back the layers, find out who you really are underneath it all, your sacred self

12pm lunch

1-6pm Local cultural Tour – Visit a Pondok Batu temple, a local textile manufacturer and family compound to see how the Balinese live together in harmony with nature. This is a delightful half day tour around North Bali with the locals.

7pm Dinner

8pm Discussion – How to apply yoga into your everyday life with Yamas

Day 3

7.30- 8.30 gentle morning yoga flow by the beach

9am breakfast

10- 12  workshop – Rebuilding Yourself, once the layers have been removed gain the skills needed to reinvent, rediscover and reimagine your sacred self. 

12pm Lunch at Poinciana resort *Self-Pay, afternoon for spa treatments (included) and relaxing by the pool, we also have time for sunset cocktails

7pm return for dinner

8pm Gather in Pjs for self-love and nurture talk

Day 4 

7.30 – 8.30am Gentle hatha morning yoga flow by the beach

10 Day trip visit the Tulamben Tree houses amazing bamboo structures, then take some photos of the spectacular Lempuyang temple, and finish the day with snorkeling at Amed, we hope to see dolphins. Lunch – * Self Pay

Meet Marni

Mother ~ Yogini ~ Spiritual Healer ~ Barefoot Dreamer

Marni is a seeker of beauty and gratitude; every day is an opportunity for her to find and express these qualities. Born in New Zealand as a child she was wild & outrageous but searched for validation and acceptance, always feeling “different”. Having her first child at 16 she grew up quickly, met her partner, moved to Australia and started a business. Together they grew their gorgeous family to include another 4 children, ranging now between 5 and 18.

Marni like many women put her own aspirations on hold to care for her family. However, in 2014 she started to live and breathe yoga and to truly find herself again. Excited by her own personal transformation Marni is passionate about supporting other women on their path to find the beautiful light they have within, stripping back conditioning and patterns that have been holding them back. She does this through heart centred practices such as reiki, breathwork, yoga, meditation, aromatherapy, oracle card readings, art process, jewellery making and much more. Marni is the ultimate gentle mentor to guide you to becoming whole, to taking the journey back to yourself.
