Tammie Day is a counsellor, mindfulness, yoga and nia teacher and group facilitator of 17 years. She runs retreats and workshops worldwide. Tammie has been facilitating retreats in Mount Alford for 4 years and has a special connection with this area being born close by in Beaudesert, she is looking forward to sharing with you this unique and magical place and supporting to find Balance in everyday life.
Mount Alford Lodge provides a unique blend of comfort and hospitality. It is warm and friendly yet guests can escape into their own privacy to relax and reflect.
The moods of the surrounding countryside are ever changing; from peace and tranquility with the silence broken only by the song of a nearby bird, to the rumbles of a summer storm as it approaches over the Border Ranges.
With 59 hectares (140 acres) available to you, there is always somewhere for a quiet stroll. Those with a little more energy can climb to the higher ridges on our property and be rewarded with magnificent views.
When you have stayed at Mount Alford Lodge, you will fall in love with the facilities, the surrounds and the people!
Four detached cabins provide tastefully decorated accommodation, each room can be single or twinshare. Each cabin has three bedrooms allowing comfortable spacious living.
All bedrooms have en-suite facilities ensuring your total privacy. All bedroom and bathroom linen is provided.
Kitchenettes with microwave, toaster, electric jug, all cutlery and crockery plus refrigerator together with provided food selections, (toast, cereal, fruit, yogurt, tea and coffee) allow for a relaxed continental breakfast to start the day.
There are no TV’s in the cabins but there are two in communal areas.
A quiet late afternoon drink on the open verandah of your cabin is the perfect way to relax and enjoy these magic surroundings.

9am Depart to Mount Tamborine for a day of shopping and sight seeing, approx 1.5 hour drive. Take a walk through pristine rainforest to Curtis Falls 1.1km, shopping and lunch along Gallery Walk a street full of artisan crafts clothing and delicious treats, optional visit to Witches Chase Cheese Company and Brewery
Return to Mount Alford Lodge by 6pm for dinner
